  7.   This is a model of a B-29 Super Fortress. It is as complete as memory constraints
  8. allow. It is recommended that you have at least 16 megs of RAM to safely
  9. render it in Medium Res. Now for the history lesson.
  10.   The B-29 was developed by the Boeing Aircraft Corp. as an extention of
  11. their B-17 Program. The U.S Army Air Force,as it was then called, wanted a
  12. Very Long-Range Heavy Bomber to use in the event that global war occurred
  13. and no air fields over seas were available. The bomber had to have a range
  14. of 5000 miles and carry a bomb load of 4000 lbs.After many teething
  15. problems,specifically with the engines,the B-29 became operational in early
  16. 1944 after 4-5 years of devolpment and testing.It's dimentions were as

  25.  By the end of WWII it also as most people know the first Nuclear capable
  26. strategic strike aircraft with the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The
  27. aircraft was used until well into the 1950's until it was finally retired
  28. from sevice in 1960.

  30.  This model is fully ariculate, meaning props, tail and wing surfaces and
  31. landing gear were created for full animation movement.So ends the lesson.
